Welcome to one of Illinois’ most unique destinations! Staying in the only hotel in the state park is the best way to experience everything Starved Rock has to offer. Book your getaway in one of our traditional log cabins, nestled among tall pines and towering oaks, with trails to canyons right outside your door! Experience a part of the 1930’s and stay in an original, historic Lodge Wing room, with knotty pine paneling from floor to ceiling. Prefer something more contemporary? The rooms in our Hotel Wing were added on in the 1980’s and are a bit larger and more modern. Please note: Saturday night bookings require a two-night stay. Check-in is 4pm and check-out is 11am.
Must be 21 years or older to rent a room or cabin at Starved Rock Lodge.
Senior & Military Discount: We offer a senior discount (60 years and over) and military discount of 20% Sunday-Thursday and 10% off Friday and Saturday. Valid ID required.
There are several dining options at Starved Rock Lodge & State Park. Within the Lodge, you’ll find historic ambiance in our Main Dining Room, where the atmosphere is friendly and casual. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sunday Brunch is a guest favorite. Reservations are recommended.
The Back Door Lounge is located on the east side of Starved Rock Lodge and has a laid-back atmosphere with great food and your favorite drinks. Just outside the Back Door Lounge, we offer outdoor dining on the Veranda (as weather permits). Located in the heart of LaSalle County, experience the scenic view of the Illinois River Valley and great food, too! It’s the perfect place for a family photo. Just off the hotel lobby is the Starved Rock Café which opens early to serve Douwe Egberts coffee, breakfast, lunch, snacks and even souvenirs.
Trailheads Snacks & Souvenirs is located inside the Starved Rock State Park Visitor Center. Fuel up before your hike with snacks, lunch, Artisan ice cream, fudge, funnel cakes and more.
